Val Maki-Candido becomes board chairman of the Southern California Broadcasters Association. Maki-Candido is senior VP and market manager of Emmis stations KPWR(FM) and KZLA(FM) in Los Angeles. Tim Pohlman was elected vice chairman of the SCBA board. He is VP and GM of Infinity’s KTWV(FM) in L.A.
