Sporting News Promotes Sports Directors

Sporting News Radio Co-Sports Directors Matt Nahigian and Ryan Williams have been promoted to program director of the 24/7 national sports talk radio network and director of affiliate programming, respectively. The two have worked as co-sports directors for the last three years.
Nahigian has been with Sporting News Radio, formerly One-On-One Sports, for ten years, starting as a producer for various shows. He was later promoted to executive producer, and named co-sports director in 2001. In his position as program director, Nahigian will oversee daily operations of the programming department and continues to work with the network’s on-air talent and producers.
Williams was recruited to join Nahigian at Sporting News in 2001, coming from SportsFan Radio Network where he served as program director since 1996. Prior to that position, he was a producer and field reporter for WFAN in New York. As director of affiliate programming for Sporting News, Williams will target key affiliate relationships and promote the network’s content in the marketplace.
