Call him the Godfather of Sports Radio.
Commentator James Brown resigned with Sporting News Radio, where his “James Brown Show” will continue to air Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to noon after originally airing in 1992. The decorated broadcaster, who has received the 2002 International Black Broadcaster’s Association Broadcasting Excellence Award among other accolades, also serves as one of the original co-hosts of the NFL pre-game show, “Fox NFL Sunday” after joining the Fox Sports in 1994 following ten years with CBS Sports.
“I look forward to continuing my relationship with Sporting News Radio. They have provided me with a fantastic national forum to delve into the hot topics in sports,” Brown said. “I truly enjoy interacting with my listeners daily as well as delivering the biggest name guests in sports radio each and every day.”
