Streaming audio service Spotify has launched a new feature that aims to keep users in the know about the latest hits from artists they love. Release Radar, a personally customized playlist of new releases, debuted Aug. 5.
As a complement to New Music Friday, on the same day, Spotify will offer up a two-hour playlist comprised of new singles relevant to individual users’ preferences. According to the release, the more users stream the playlist, the better it will be calibrated to what they want to hear.
“With Release Radar, we wanted to create the simplest way for you to find all the newly released music that matters the most to you, in one playlist,” said Spotify Senior Product Owner Matt Ogle in the release.
This playlist can be found in the New Releases for You section within the Discover tab on its mobile and desktop apps.
