Spring Forward: Change Clocks This Weekend

Spring Forward: Change Clocks This Weekend

Most jurisdictions begin observing Daylight Saving Time this weekend.
Stations will set their automation systems to skip an hour at 2 a.m. Sunday morning. Time reverts on the last Sunday of October.
The Traffic Directors Guild of America issued a reminder that “all logs you produce should acknowledge either the time change or that your log represents times conforming to local time changes in your city of license and/or coverage area.
“Any printed log should reflect that at 2 a.m. Sunday, you jump forward to 3 a.m. Of course, this involves being certain that there are NO SPOTS, or other announcements scheduled between 2 a.m. and 3 a.m. local time. This hour literally does not exist in states observing the changeover,” TDGA stated.
