Sprint PCS is partnering with an interactive service to offer consumers the ability to identify and buy music playing on the radio – from their Sprint PCS phone. Interactive service *CD says it’s the first time wireless phone users can access *CD nationwide.
Sprint customers can connect to *CD, enter the calls of a station and identify the song they’re listening to. They can also hear samples of other songs and purchase the CD with a credit card. *CD tracks signals for 523 stations in the top markets 24/7.
