SRR Gives Studer Desk NATO Debut

SRR set up an on-site two-studio facility, constructed around the two Studer OnAir 3000 digital audio mixing consoles, to cover the Bucharest meetings of the defense alliance.

The April NATO summit was the backdrop for the debut of two new Studer consoles acquired by the Romanian public broadcaster, Societatea Româna de Radiodifuziune (SRR).

SRR set up an on-site two-studio facility, constructed around the two Studer OnAir 3000 digital audio mixing consoles, to cover the Bucharest meetings of the defense alliance.

The broadcaster purchased the two OnAir 3000s specifically for the summit and specified nine-fader configurations for the temporary studios, with the capability to expand the fader capacity when it permanently installed the desks back at its main broadcast facility.

Prior to the summit, Studer provided on-site training for both the OnAir 3000s and also the Studer router and surveillance system installed.
