Radio program syndicator Syndicated Solutions has announced the availability of “StarTalk,” a weekend science program hosted by Neil deGrasse Tyson, director of the Hayden Planetarium.
A release describes the two-hour program as bridging “the gap between pop culture and science, delivering a fun and informative broadcast.” It added that Tyson and a co-host, with selected guests, will “converge the cosmic and comic, making science accessible to the masses by sharing breaking news, investigating mysteries, exposing myths and revealing truths.”
A 60-second M–F daily short featurette will also be made available. “StarTalk” starts June 2.
Tyson will also be hosting the resurrected “Cosmos TV” program for Fox, starting in January.
