Starnes to Receive NRB Board of Directors Award

Fox host is recognized as impactful Christian communicator

Fox News and commentary Host Todd Starnes will receive the National Religious Broadcasters Board of Directors Award during the organization’s awards dinner Tuesday, Feb. 25, during the NRB 2014 International Christian Media Convention in Nashville, Tenn.

The award honors a Christian “communicator,” who may or may not work in broadcasting and “who demonstrates integrity, displays creativity and makes a significant impact on society.”

Starnes is heard daily on hundreds of radio stations. According to a release, throughout his journalism career, he has covered stories taking him from Wall Street to the White House. He is a regular contributor to Fox & Friends and FoxNews.com. He also writes a weekly column for Human Events and TownHall.com.

Additionally, he is the author of two books — “Dispatches From Bitter America” and “They Popped My Hood and Found Gravy on the Dipstick.”

NRB 2014 will be held at the Gaylord Opryland Resort and Convention Center in Nashville, Feb. 22–25, 2014.
