Station Vs. Botanical Garden: Case Closed

WFUV’s fight with the New York Botanical Garden has come to a “happy conclusion,” says station GM Ralph Jennings.
The noncom public station said the FCC has officially renewed its FM broadcast license.
“The renewal enables WFUV to immediately begin broadcasting at full power (50,000 watts of effective radiated power) from the station’s new transmitter site on top of Montefiore Medical Center in the Bronx,” it stated.
The station has begun dismantling the former half-built tower on the Fordham University campus, the subject of much past debate between the neighbors.
