Broadcast Electronics said Steel City Media in Pittsburgh is using its Total Radio product solution for HD-2 multicasting.
WLTJ(FM) went digital in August sith a BE HD Radio system and the supplier said the station is planning to multicast two channels of additional programming, possibly by next month. The installation also includes a BE Big Pipe system as a dual-hop STL connecting the studios through a UHF environment and repeated out to the station’s transmitter site on the unlicensed 5.8 GHz band.
