Stephen George Named LPM President/GM

He had served as the interim president since January

Louisville Public Media announced Louisville native Stephen George will serve as the organization’s next president and general manager, effective immediately.

George had served as the organization’s interim president since January, when Michael Skoler stepped down.

Prior to that, he had served as LPM’s executive editor since 2015. In that role, George led a restructuring of LPM’s news operations, initiated the regional journalism collaborative Ohio Valley ReSource, a news partnership with the Spanish-language newspaper Al Día en América and the acquisition of Do502.com, according to the announcement.
