Steven Tyler will bring some rock and roll pizzazz to the fall Radio Show in Atlanta, also giving some show attendees further motivation to hang around through the last day of the convention.
He will be talking, not singing (at least as far as we know). Organizers say Aerosmith’s lead dude will sit down for an interview with country radio hosts Lorianne Crook and Charlie Chase during the convention’s “Music and Mimosas” event on Friday, October 2 at 9 a.m.
“During the Q&A session, Tyler will discuss the journey he has taken to become the unstoppable brand that he is today, the importance of developing as an artist and staying relevant through the changes in media and music consumption. They will also discuss what it takes to make a hit today and the role radio plays in that process,” according to the announcement.
The session in the Atlanta Marriott Marquis Atrium Ballroom is about the business of the business, and includes representatives from record labels Big Machine Label Group, Columbia Records, Disney Music Group, Epic and Republic.
