Story to Take Leadership Role at Arkansas Broadcasters Association

His last day at the GAB will be Halloween

The Arkansas Broadcasters Association has named Luke Story as its new executive director. He replaces Doug Krile, who retired earlier in 2017.

Story has served as the director of communications for the Georgia Association of Broadcasters for three years and will continue to do so through Oct. 31. Prior to the GAB, he worked for Georgia Public Broadcasting, WCON(AM/FM) and Jacobs Media.

“We take great pride in having one of our own take a leadership role within the broadcast industry,” Georgia Association of Broadcasters President Bob Houghton said in the announcement. “We are thrilled he will continue to be part of the National Alliance of State Broadcast Associations.”

The Arkansas Broadcasters Association is headquartered in Little Rock.
