Streaming media and content delivery provider StreamGuys has launched a new service called RevenueStream.
RevenueStream, an audio and video streaming platform, is designed to generate revenue outside of the traditional ad-supported model. It also aims to provide a more professional, secure and controlled service than what the company says are amateur-oriented streaming services and Web sites.
RevenueStream supports Windows Media audio and video and Icecast MP3 audio. QuickTime and Wowza Flash server implementations are in development.
