Ibiquity Digital sponsored this year’s dinner (see story above). Company President/CEO Robert Struble said, “We at Ibiquity are developing the technology that makes digital AM/FM, HD Radio, possible. But it’s all of you who are breathing life into those digital ones and zeros.”
The HD Radio rollout has made “tremendous strides” since this time last year, and he’s expecting “even bigger” things in 2006, he said.
At least 20 companies are displaying HD Radio-related equipment on the show floor, many with live broadcasts from Las Vegas HD Radio stations.
