Studer Appoints Hosking Sales Director for MEA

Also names Danmon Svenska as authorized dealer in Sweden

Harman’s Swiss-based TV and radio broadcast, recording and production studio equipment and systems manufacturer, Studer, has appointed Mark Hosking to the position of sales director, Middle East and Africa.

According to a release Studer Hosking has more than 15 years of sales experience, much of it in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

He started his career with console maker AMS Neve in 1997. He has also worked with DSP Media, the Arbiter Group and console developer Euphonix, where he managed sales in the film, TV, post, music and broadcast markets across the U.K., Ireland, Middle East, India and Africa territories, before moving up to the position of director of sales, EMEA.

“We anticipate his experience in the broadcast market will have an immediate, beneficial impact for our customers and on sales in the Middle East and Africa,” said Adrian Curtis, senior director sales, Harman Mixing Group.

Studer also announced that it has named Täby, Sweden-based Danmon Svenska AB as its authorized distributor for Sweden.

Danmon Svenska AB is one of four companies within the Scandinavian business group, Danmon Group. It is an audio and video equipment dealer and also provides after-sales support.
