As part of the company’s expansion, Studer has created and filled the new position of general manager.
Studer General Manager Jürgen Bopst will report directly to Andy Trott, president of Soundcraft and Studer; he will operate out of Studer headquarters in Regensdorf, Switzerland.
“This is a very exciting time to join such an exciting business. It has the buzz of a bright and vibrant young company but with 60 years of heritage and quality built into its brands!” Bopst said.
The management expansion results from increased sales over the past two years, particularly for the Vista console range. In July 2007, the Swiss company formed a new sales team for Soundcraft and Studer, headed by Bruno Hochstrasser.
“Last July, Bruno agreed to take on two very demanding roles, those being executive vice president of sales for Soundcraft and Studer and heading up the Studer business as president until we were in a position to recruit the right general manager,” said Trott.
“It is great news that we can now announce Jürgen Bopst as the new general manager for Studer. This is a pivotal role that is designed to further expand the Studer business by enabling Bruno to focus exclusively on his passion, our customers.”
