The Weather Channel and WestwoodOne have extended their ad sales agreement until 2016.
Currently, the radio program syndicator and services provider sells ads The Weather Channel’s daily customized weather reports for radio stations.
WestwoodOne CEO Paul Caine said, “Weather is a hugely covetable component in the audio space, and serves as a critical resource for listeners. In fact, we have found that listeners are more likely to tune or tap in for weather information than most all other content. We are happy to know we can continue to provide our listeners access to the best weather information available.”
