Superior Electric Recovers After Snowstorm

Voltage control manufacturer says customers may have had problems reaching it this week

Superior Electric is among the many businesses in Connecticut affected by that late October snowstorm.

The company said some customers may have had difficulties reaching the factory.

“Due to the epic snowstorm that occurred on Oct. 29–30, 2011, and the resultant loss of power, cable and cell service in the state of Connecticut, you may have experienced difficulties in communicating with us. We apologize for that.”

But, it stated, its operations and contact channels are back in full swing now.

“If you have sent us a purchase order via fax or email, and have not received an order acknowledgement, please contact us. We are responding to email and voice mail inquiries (request for quotations) in the order they were received. Please contact us by telephone if you have an urgent requirement.”

The company, founded in 1938, is part of Danaher Corp. and makes voltage control and conditioning equipment.
