Sutton Is New Corporate Chief for Debut

The company is in expansion mode and says it is creating the first of several planned “Super-Regional Clusters” within the southeastern United States.

Bill Sutton is the new corporate chief engineer at Debut Broadcasting Corp., based in Nashville.

The firm has stations in Greenville, Miss., and now Vicksburg; it also owns syndicator Impact Radio Networks.

The company is in expansion mode and says it is creating the first of several planned “Super-Regional Clusters” within the southeastern United States, calling this approach a more economical way to operate stations in smaller markets. The company has trademarked the name Super-Regional Cluster. Steve Ludwig is CEO of Debut Broadcasting.

Sutton is a former chief for Clear Channel. He maintained several stations in Iowa; he also was charged with rebuilding three studios in Bryan, Texas. He was a chief in Bristol, Tenn., and began his career in broadcast engineering in 1998 with Broadcast Tech Service in Miss., where he was a contract engineer until 2003.
