The SXSW music/media festival has chosen audio app developer jacAPPS to supply its Android and iOS apps.
According to a release, “the app features a 24-hour audio stream, along with podcasts from its unique specialty programs, including Backbeat (Indie Rock), Chronolog (featuring bands from Austin and the local region), Tha Fixx (Hip-Hop), Floored (electronic dance music), and Americana. The app also provides playlists of songs from featured artists and other unique SXSW content that can be shared and enjoyed by both attendees and those who wish they were there.”

The music/film/digital media festival is March 7–16 in Austin, Texas.
