Transmission service provider Globecast made use of the Systembase C510ip audio codecs during the recent UEFA Euro 2012 football tournament.
Globecast used the C510ip codecs to stream audio over IP for the delivery of live commentary and for the coordination of circuits between the International Broadcast Centres located in Poland, Ukraine and the ITV Sports studios in London.
The 24-bit C510ip supports G.722, G.711, X21, ISDN and linear PCM and the apt-X codec.
