TagStation has hired Derek Rohloff as vice president of automotive business development.
He will emphasize the connected car and NextRadio’s ability to “deliver an enhanced visual hybrid radio station experience beyond the smartphone,” according to an announcement. Specifically, Rohloff will promote “integration of the NextRadio app and the TagStation cloud service through embedded radio services, SmartDeviceLink or other app based hybrid radio solutions.”
Rohloff’s previous titles include vice president of worldwide content and U.S. automotive for UIEvolution Inc. as well as vice president of automotive strategic partnerships for iHeartMedia, where he also worked as vice president of real time traffic when the company was called Clear Channel.
TagStation LLC is a wholly owned subsidiary of Emmis Communications Corp.
