Taipei-based Radio Taiwan International carried out Digital Radio Mondiale trial transmissions on July 6 from its Tamsui transmitter, located to the north of the capital.
The broadcasts took place in DRM from 5:45 to 5:55 UTC on 2030 kHz and from 6:15 to 6:25 UTC on 9680 kHz.
According to reports, RTI is also planning several direct digital broadcasts of its German-language program in September and October from Tamsui.
