TargetSpot Inc. signed Entercom Communications as a user of its ad serving technology and marketplace on Entercom stations that stream online.
The company in April also signed CBS Radio.
TargetSpot will launch this summer. Its technology allows businesses to create, buy and place ad messages within streaming media; advertisers can create customized audio, video, banner and text ads with jingles, sound effects and visuals provided by TargetSpot. Ads are targeted to specific demographics, locations and stations.
Doug Perslon is CEO of TargetSpot. He said the deals with two of the five biggest radio groups means “we have achieved critical mass for the most granular of advertising campaigns.”
