TASCAM Spells Out NAB Plans

TASCAM Spells Out NAB Plans

New home studio monitors and a rackable CD player that records onto MiniDisc are among the offerings to be shown by TASCAM at NAB in April.
VL-X5 home studio monitors are powered speakers with 5-1/4-inch woofers, silk-dome tweeters and a 60+30-watt bi-amplified active power amp.
The MD-CD1 combines CD playback and MiniDisc recording in a 1RU device for fixed installation. It includes 12% pitch control, MP3 CD playback, RS-232 control and an optional balanced I/O board.
Also in the TASCAM booth will be the DM-3200, a new 48-channel professional digital console that includes surround sound functions; the DV-RA1000 recorder for recording high-resolution stereo audio to inexpensive DVD media; and seven computer recording products.
