The National Association of Broadcasters Education Foundation wants applicants for its 2012 Technology Apprenticeship Program.
The six-month program is open to high school and college seniors, recent graduates or individuals looking for a career in the broadcast industry.
Aspects of the apprenticeship include two-month paid internships at a radio or TV station and a training program with a technology manufacturer.
NABEF President Marcellus Alexander stated: “The TAP program provides bright high-tech minds with hands-on experience working with the latest in broadcast technology.”
As a bonus, TAP participants get into the NAB Show for free.
The program starts in April. The deadline for applications is Feb. 15.
