Joan Baker & Co. bring the That’s Voiceover train to Chicago for a workshop on Aug. 25.
That’s Voiceover is a combination workshop, career expo and social event for VO talent, those who want to become VO talent, ad industry folks and casting professionals.
In Chicago, beside the usual workshops with VO pros, an audition contest will be held in conjunction with the local NBC TV affiliate, WMAQ. The winner gets some voice work with WMAQ, an interview with a talent agent and a Neumann TLM 102 microphone.
The event is at the Harris Theater and doors open at 10:30 a.m.
