Don Imus is of course a topic of hall room chat here at NAB. I’ve been asking people here whether they think Imus will end up on satellite radio.
Some believe his career is over, while others say he may someday end up working in satellite radio. Speculation as to when that might happen varies among the several attendees I’ve queried here at various events.
Nearly everyone I’ve spoken with says that with the possible merger between the satellite radio companies, neither one would want the publicity of Imus coming to their business. Some do believe Imus might try to wait things out and resurface in a year or so, using Opie and Anthony’s two-year hiatus before coming to XM as an example.
