Charlamagne Tha God, Angela Yee, DJ Envy
Premiere Networks will launch its top-rated popular morning program, “The Breakfast Club,” into weekly national syndication. Originating from WWPR(FM) in New York, the program — already featured on iHeartRadio and nationally syndicated since March on weekends — will now air Monday through Friday from 6 to 10 a.m. on radio stations across the country.
“The Breakfast Club” stars Charlamagne Tha God, former co-host of “The Wendy Williams Experience” and current host of MTV2’s “Guy Code;” Angela Yee, one of the stars of the VH1 reality show “The Gossip Game,” and correspondent for MTV2’s “Sucker Free;” and DJ Envy, mixtape master and host of MTV2’s “Sucker Free” and “Week in Jams.”
A release explains that the show will feature interviews and conversations with celebrities and hip-hop artists, entertainment news, fresh music mixes, along with a “signature blend of honesty and humor.” “The Breakfast Club” has been named the #1 radio program in the nation by The Source magazine.
