CBS Radio station WFAN(AM) in New York will start streaming online on Tuesday (April 11).
Operations Manager Mark Chernoff made the announcement. WFAN is closely watched as a pioneering and highly rated sports station (although it is the sixth, not the first, CBS sports station to go online live).
This is part of CBS Radio’s year-old effort to launch online broadcasts of various stations. It now streams more than 75 broadcast channels and customized online content. CBS says 2 million users have registered to listen live to its online properties.
