Fox Sports is crowing about the success of its acquisition of Colin Cowherd. And it’s not just a Fox Sports radio success, but a multiplatform success, says the broadcast hydra.
The company is pointing at TV, radio, audio streaming, podcast, YouTube, Facebook and Twitter. Fox Sports claims 11.7 million video views.
It cites The Herd running roughshod over TV competitors on ESPNU, NBCSN and even previous content on Fox Sports. It also notes that the podcast is #2 at the iTunes Sports & recreation category.
Cowherd recently moved over to Fox Sports after his contract ended (and he was let go a week early) with ESPN.
