No session host wants those last slots on the getaway day of a convention. But attendees of the upcoming NAB Radio Show in Philadelphia, Sept. 23–25, might want to stick around, according to Valerie Geller, author of “Creating Powerful Radio — Getting, Keeping & Growing Audiences.”
She’ll be hosting a Friday afternoon session, “Radio’s Silver Lining.” The discussion will center on radio’s nearly unsurpassed cost efficiency when it comes to advertisers trying to reach an audience. She’ll also examine various programming strategies and talent considerations.
Geller is also positive on maximizing radio’s potentialities in down economies and its ability to be a leading indicator out of bad times.
