‘This American Life’ Leaves ‘The Story Faucet On’ on Purpose

TuneIn and public radio show team up to create exclusive 24/7 station

Internet streamer TuneIn now offers a new way to listen to “This American Life,” a 24/7 station of episodes from the 18-year archive of shows.

The weekly public radio show hosted by Ira Glass is launching this new service exclusively on TuneIn Radio as a digital radio station that will include new episodes, as well as selections from the show’s archive of more than 500 hours.

“Who left the story faucet on? We did. On purpose,” says Seth Lind, director of operations for “This American Life.” “We’re excited to offer this easy new way to get the show, particularly past episodes people might have never stumbled upon.”

“This American Life has always been a fan favorite, and we are happy ‘This American Life’ has chosen TuneIn as their partner to launch the 24/7 station,” said John Donham, TuneIn CEO.

With TuneIn Radio, listeners can now hear “This American Life” on over 200 platforms ranging from mobile phones and tablets, to smart TVs and cars. To listen, simply search “This American Life” on the free TuneIn Radio app or online at TuneIn.com.
