Tippit Takes Clear Channel Strategic Development Post

John T. Tippit joins Clear Channel in San Antonio in a new position, that of senior vice president of strategic development. Randall Mays made the announcement.
Tippit was VP of finance and strategic planning for Clarke American Inc. and has worked at Goldman, Sachs & Co. in mergers and acquisitions. He also worked for Harte-Hanks Inc., another Texas-based media firm, as director of corporate development.
His job at Clear Channel is strategic planning and development.
