The German Tonmeister Association has opened its call for contributions and papers for the 27th Tonmeistertagung. Known this year as tmt27, the biennial event is a meeting of professional audio people from Germany and neighboring countries.
The gathering is scheduled to take place at the Congress Centrum Nord of the Koelnmesse exhibition center in Cologne, Nov. 22–25. The call for contributions and all submission details are available online.
Tmt27 will cover such topics as digital radio, loudness normalization, HD audio, wireless audio, restoration and archiving, the Internet and audio along with car audio.
While the deadline for paper submissions is July 12, exhibitors have until July 31 to submit posters and product reports. Potential participants are encouraged to submit papers in English.
The 2010 event had over 3,000 attendees with 225 companies exhibiting.
