Larry Keene of the Traffic Directors Guild of America brings attention to Wednesday’s Traffic Director’s Day.
The guild encourages management to show a little appreciation with a visit and a good word, donuts, flowers or even a lunch.
To spread the cheer around, Keene & Co. explain, “Traffic Director’s Day applies to all phases of the inner-office from continuity, production, billing, business office, etc.”
TDGA developed its own Happy Traffic Day Greeting Card (PDF). The guild will be sending out 5,000 cards; and Keene points to three traffic software companies, two state broadcasting associations and a major group broadcaster doing something special for the day.
