Delphi, Navigation Technologies, Panasonic and Visteon are demonstrating HD Radio traffic based applications at Ibiquity Digital’s booth #4619. Traffic information, provided separately by Navigation Technologies and TrafficCast, is broadcasting live from KSTJ(FM) Las Vegas. Delphi is showing text-based traffic reports in a Pontiac Montana while real-time traffic information is also overlaid on a Panasonic GPS navigation system enabled with NAVTECH maps and an advanced Visteon multimedia driver information system.
“We believe HD radio technology is excellent, not only for in-vehicle information, but for many other services,” said Martin Thoone, Visteon’s global director, Electronics Product Line Team.
