Transradio SenderSysteme has partnered with Hungarian transmission-services provider Antenna Hungária for a major AM project.

The modernization effort focuses on upgrading and expanding Hungarian national AM broadcast infrastructure to solid-state technology, along with the creation of a digital-ready infrastructure for the future.

In addition, the migration from tube-based to solid-state technology will enable Antenna Hungária to operate with lower costs and greater reliability.

Since the start of the program in 2004, Transradio has delivered 18 AM transmitters and several antenna-tuning devices. As of press time, only two transmitters were still awaiting upgrades.
