Digital audio technology provider Triton Digital will be the sales rep for interactive ad inventory for Xapp in Jax, a mobile ad service from jacapps offered to stations and podcast publishers that use jacapps to monetize their mobile apps with Xapp ads.
Xappmedia partnered with jacapps earlier this year; now, Triton will work directly with agencies and brands to place Xapp ads into Jax.
Xapp interactive audio ads enable consumers to connect with brands and advertised offers on their mobile devices by speaking, which works even when the screen is turned off, according to those involved. The so-called “native” audio user experience drives conversion rates some five times more than traditional mobile banner ads, according to the three companies.
Xappmedia SVP Lisa Namerow praises Triton as understanding the potential of interactive mobile ads and having the “scale and established relationships with advertisers” to deliver ROI for both advertisers and broadcasters.
