TuneIn (the former RadioTime), which makes a mobile device app for finding and listening to radio stations on the Internet, has announced a Windows Phone 7 app.
Bill Moore, founder of TuneIn Radio, says this provides “another key avenue” for broadcasters to provide their content to listeners, in and out of their local markets.
He also says it places them on equal footing with streaming music and news services.
The app is free. It’s called TuneIn Radio for Windows Phone 7.
TuneIn claims a playlist of 30,000 Internet stations (AM/FM or Internet-only), airing in 140 countries and in 55 languages.
