TuneIn and ESPN Radio Team Up for the World Cup

ESPN Radio standards available on podcast channels

Web streaming portal TuneIn is working with ESPN Radio to make available the sports radio programmer’s shows and 2014 FIFA World Cup coverage.

New to the TuneIn menu will be podcast channels devoted to ESPN Radio shows and personalities — “Mike & Mike,” “SVP & Russillo,” “Paul Finebaum,” “The Thundering Herd” and more.

In addition, for the season, TuneIn will add ESPN Radio’s coverage of the World Cup. That includes all 64 matches plus a promised 600+ hours of news, analysis and programming, starting this week.

TuneIn Vice President of Programming Kevin Straley said, “ESPN channels are very popular on TuneIn … We are excited to continue to add more personalized content for ESPN fans, from dedicated 24/7 channels for the most popular podcasts, to live international events like the World Cup.”

On the international front, TuneIn will also be providing access to World Cup coverage via talkSport (U.K.), SBS Radio (Australia), COPE (Spain) and Radio Transamérica (Brazil).
