Now that the SXSW gathering in Austin, Texas has moved onto its music festival phase, Internet and mobile device audio streaming portal TuneIn has moved into action as well.
Working with three radio stations with on-site remote coverage — Austin’s KGSR(FM), Seattle’s KEXP(FM) and New York’s WFUV(FM) — TuneIn will be making available free streams of the acts performing for the festival.
Much of the programming will be live but some will be recorded at other venues and then played.
The festival started Tuesday and will run through March 18. Here’s a playbill.
