Visitors at the Salon International de la Radio, heard 50 radio stations Webcasting on TV-Radio.com thanks to the help of an IDT processor designed for the Internet.
Modeled after the company’s Digital Virtual Processor, the DVP@NET uses FFT technology, processing at 96 kHz, and 24-bit, 40-bit A-to-D/D-to-A converters in an open architecture.
Although still in prototype, Vincent Defretin said he decided to lend the DVP@NET because comparative tests showed it was several steps ahead of the field.
