We reported here earlier that the SBE was working with the American Women in Radio and Television to choose an Outstanding Female Engineer of the Year Award. Now the first honoree has been named; she is TV engineer Cristy Trembly.
Trembly, a member of both AWRT and SBE, is the studio manager/engineer-in-charge for CBS Television City in Los Angeles.
The award will be presented at the 2006 AWRT Annual Leadership Summit and Business Conference on March 11 during the RAB-sponsored AWRT Power Breakfast.
