United Stations Signs Al Roker for Radio Weather

United Stations Radio Networks, Inc., has signed NBC’s Al Roker to create a radio weather forecasting service for radio stations. Roker will lend his voice and his name to weather reports geared for radio.
“The Radio Weather Network with Al Roker” is due to start this summer. The daily morning forecasts will emphasize Roker’s personality, and the reports will be supplemented by forecasts from a team of regional weather professionals. Roker will broadcast from New York where he resides.
