Univision Uses Axia IP-Audio in Austin

Axia said Univision Radio is using the Axia IP-Audio network in a digital conversion project in Austin, Texas. The supplier said the client is making the transition one station at a time, beginning with flagship station KINV(FM), and that the system’s ability to expand economically was a selling point.
Jim Hibbard of Pacific Mobile Recorders performed contract installation of the Axia gear at KINV.
Axia builds Ethernet-based professional IP-Audio products including digital audio routing switchers, DSP mixers and processors and software for configuring, managing and interfacing its systems.
