The IEEE Broadcast Technology Society will hear from Dr. Vanu Bose, president and CEO of Vanu Inc., as the keynote lunch speaker at the annual BTS Awards Luncheon. It is part of the 54th Annual IEEE Broadcast Symposium in Washington in October.
Bose co-founded the company in 1998 to provide waveform software and design consulting services for software radio systems; he is principal inventor of its software radio technology.
“Dr. Bose will discuss the impact of emerging technologies on the future of the broadcast industry and how the introduction of these technologies will speed the evolution of broadcast standards and services while enabling new business models,” the organization stated.
