The EMAP Radio group recently chose VDC Trading to supply cables and connectors for three revamped Kiss FM studios in London.
The new studios at Mappin House in London replaced on-air facilities built seven years ago when Kiss moved from its old base.
The studio rebuild involved returning two rooms to their original configuration to install new fabric, lighting, furniture, wiring, mixer surfaces and LCD monitor systems.
The third studio was a total rebuild, and involved significant additions to the racks room so that EMAP could install the same Logitek digital router and mixers it uses elsewhere.
The EMAP technical team designed and installed the studios, with help from Logitek distributor Preco and studio furniture manufacturer Knotty Ash Woodworking.
